1Information we collect

The app never asks for your phone number, email, location, contacts, photos or files, and it needs no account. The only personal detail you can type in is a name for your completion certificate, and that is optional.

Completion record (only with your consent). When you finish a quiz and open your certificate, the app asks whether it may send your result to the programme organisers. If, and only if, you tap Send, these three items are sent:

• the name you typed,
• the name of the quiz,
• your score.

Nothing else is sent: no device ID, no location and none of your individual answers. If you never agree, nothing is transmitted. You can turn this off at any time in the app under More → Settings.

2Why we use it

Completion records are used only so that the organisers (and participating schools) can see who completed the programme and issue official certificates. They are not used for advertising, profiling or any other purpose, and they are never sold.

3Information stored only on your device

To work, the app saves a few settings in your device’s local storage: your language and theme, whether you accepted the disclaimer, your best quiz scores, the certificate name you typed, and whether you agreed to send results. This stays on your device (except the completion record above, sent only with consent) and is erased when you uninstall the app or clear its storage.

Your quiz and self-check answers are processed on your device only to show you a result. Individual answers are never stored or sent.

4Third-party services

Google Forms. Completion records are submitted over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection to a Google Form owned by the programme organisers, and are stored by Google on our behalf under the Google Privacy Policy.

YouTube. Some awareness videos play from YouTube inside the app, and video titles and thumbnails are loaded from YouTube. When that happens your device connects to Google, which may receive your IP address and device information and may set cookies, under the Google Privacy Policy and YouTube Terms of Service. The videos bundled inside the app play offline and send nothing.

Sharing a certificate. If you share your certificate, the image goes only to the app you choose in your phone’s share menu (for example WhatsApp), under that app’s own policy.

Helplines. Tapping a helpline opens your phone’s dialer with the number filled in; you decide whether to call. Helplines are run by independent organisations under their own policies.

This website loads fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address. It uses no cookies, analytics or ads of its own.

5Permissions

The Android app requests only the Internet permission, used for YouTube videos and, if you consent, sending the completion record. It does not access your contacts, call logs, camera, microphone, location or storage, and it never places calls on its own.

6No ads, no analytics, no selling

The app contains no advertisements, no advertising IDs and no analytics or tracking SDKs. We do not sell or rent any information to anyone.

7Retention

Completion records are kept only as long as the organisers need them to issue certificates and record the programme, and are deleted when no longer needed or when you ask us to delete them. Data on your device stays until you uninstall the app or clear its storage.

8Deleting your data and your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your completion record at any time. Email saynotodrugs260626@gmail.com with the subject “Delete my data” and give the name you used and roughly when you took the quiz. We will delete it within 30 days and confirm by email. No account is needed. See also the data deletion page.

To stop future sending, turn it off in More → Settings. To erase what is stored on your device, uninstall the app or clear its storage in your phone settings.

These rights are in line with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

9Children

The app is an awareness tool for a general audience, including school students. It collects nothing by default, and sending a result is optional and off until agreed to. If you are under 18, please ask a parent, guardian or teacher before agreeing to send your result. Parents and guardians can ask us to delete a child’s record using the contact above.

10Security

Completion records are sent only over encrypted HTTPS connections and are stored in the organisers’ Google account with access limited to the programme organisers.

11Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app changes. The new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date, and material changes will also appear in the app.

1हम कौन-सी जानकारी लेते हैं

ऐप कभी आपका फ़ोन नंबर, ईमेल, स्थान, संपर्क, फ़ोटो या फ़ाइलें नहीं माँगता, और किसी खाते की ज़रूरत नहीं। आप केवल एक व्यक्तिगत जानकारी लिख सकते हैं — प्रमाण पत्र के लिए अपना नाम, और वह भी वैकल्पिक है।

पूर्णता रिकॉर्ड (केवल आपकी सहमति से)। क्विज़ पूरा करके प्रमाण पत्र खोलने पर ऐप पूछता है कि क्या आपका परिणाम आयोजकों को भेजा जाए। यदि — और केवल यदि — आप भेजें दबाते हैं, तो ये तीन बातें भेजी जाती हैं:

• आपका लिखा नाम,
• क्विज़ का नाम,
• आपका स्कोर।

इसके अलावा कुछ नहीं — न डिवाइस ID, न स्थान, न आपके अलग-अलग उत्तर। सहमति न देने पर कुछ भी नहीं भेजा जाता। आप इसे कभी भी ऐप में और → सेटिंग्स में बंद कर सकते हैं।

2इसका उपयोग क्यों

पूर्णता रिकॉर्ड का उपयोग केवल इसलिए होता है ताकि आयोजक (और भाग लेने वाले विद्यालय) देख सकें कि किसने कार्यक्रम पूरा किया और आधिकारिक प्रमाण पत्र जारी कर सकें। इसका उपयोग विज्ञापन, प्रोफ़ाइलिंग या किसी अन्य काम के लिए नहीं होता, और इसे कभी बेचा नहीं जाता।

3केवल आपके डिवाइस पर रखी जानकारी

ऐप चलाने के लिए कुछ सेटिंग्स आपके डिवाइस के लोकल स्टोरेज में सहेजी जाती हैं: भाषा व थीम, अस्वीकरण स्वीकार किया या नहीं, सर्वश्रेष्ठ क्विज़ स्कोर, प्रमाण पत्र के लिए लिखा नाम, और परिणाम भेजने की सहमति। यह डिवाइस पर ही रहती है (ऊपर बताए, सहमति से भेजे गए रिकॉर्ड को छोड़कर) और ऐप अनइंस्टॉल करने या उसका स्टोरेज क्लियर करने पर मिट जाती है।

आपके क्विज़ व स्व-जाँच के उत्तर केवल परिणाम दिखाने के लिए डिवाइस पर प्रोसेस होते हैं। अलग-अलग उत्तर न सहेजे जाते हैं, न भेजे जाते हैं।

4तृतीय-पक्ष सेवाएँ

Google फ़ॉर्म। पूर्णता रिकॉर्ड एन्क्रिप्टेड (HTTPS) कनेक्शन से कार्यक्रम आयोजकों के Google फ़ॉर्म पर भेजे जाते हैं और Google गोपनीयता नीति के तहत Google द्वारा हमारी ओर से संग्रहीत होते हैं।

YouTube। कुछ जागरूकता वीडियो ऐप के अंदर YouTube से चलते हैं, और वीडियो के शीर्षक व थंबनेल YouTube से लोड होते हैं। ऐसा होने पर आपका डिवाइस Google से जुड़ता है, जिसे आपका IP पता व डिवाइस की जानकारी मिल सकती है और जो कुकीज़ सेट कर सकता है; यह Google गोपनीयता नीति व YouTube सेवा की शर्तों के अधीन है। ऐप के साथ आए वीडियो बिना इंटरनेट चलते हैं और कुछ नहीं भेजते।

प्रमाण पत्र साझा करना। प्रमाण पत्र साझा करने पर छवि केवल उसी ऐप को जाती है जिसे आप शेयर मेनू में चुनते हैं (जैसे WhatsApp), उस ऐप की अपनी नीति के तहत।

हेल्पलाइन। हेल्पलाइन पर टैप करने से फ़ोन का डायलर नंबर भरकर खुलता है; कॉल करना आपका निर्णय है। हेल्पलाइन स्वतंत्र संगठनों द्वारा उनकी अपनी नीतियों के तहत चलाई जाती हैं।

यह वेबसाइट Google Fonts से फ़ॉन्ट लोड करती है, जिसे आपका IP पता मिलता है। वेबसाइट की अपनी कोई कुकी, एनालिटिक्स या विज्ञापन नहीं है।

5अनुमतियाँ

Android ऐप केवल इंटरनेट अनुमति माँगता है — YouTube वीडियो और, सहमति होने पर, पूर्णता रिकॉर्ड भेजने के लिए। यह आपके संपर्क, कॉल लॉग, कैमरा, माइक्रोफ़ोन, स्थान या स्टोरेज तक नहीं पहुँचता और अपने-आप कभी कॉल नहीं करता।

6कोई विज्ञापन, एनालिटिक्स या बिक्री नहीं

ऐप में कोई विज्ञापन, विज्ञापन ID, एनालिटिक्स या ट्रैकिंग SDK नहीं है। हम कोई भी जानकारी किसी को बेचते या किराए पर नहीं देते।

7जानकारी कितने समय तक रखी जाती है

पूर्णता रिकॉर्ड केवल तब तक रखे जाते हैं जब तक आयोजकों को प्रमाण पत्र जारी करने और कार्यक्रम दर्ज करने के लिए उनकी ज़रूरत हो; ज़रूरत न रहने पर या आपके कहने पर हटा दिए जाते हैं। डिवाइस पर रखी जानकारी ऐप अनइंस्टॉल करने या स्टोरेज क्लियर करने तक रहती है।

8अपना डेटा हटवाना व आपके अधिकार

आप कभी भी अपना पूर्णता रिकॉर्ड देखने, सुधारने या हटवाने के लिए कह सकते हैं। saynotodrugs260626@gmail.com पर “Delete my data” विषय के साथ ईमेल करें और अपना इस्तेमाल किया नाम व लगभग कब क्विज़ दिया, बताएँ। हम 30 दिनों के भीतर उसे हटाकर ईमेल से पुष्टि करेंगे। किसी खाते की ज़रूरत नहीं। डेटा हटाने का पेज भी देखें।

आगे भेजना रोकने के लिए और → सेटिंग्स में इसे बंद करें। डिवाइस पर रखी जानकारी मिटाने के लिए ऐप अनइंस्टॉल करें या फ़ोन सेटिंग्स में उसका स्टोरेज क्लियर करें।

ये अधिकार भारत के डिजिटल व्यक्तिगत डेटा संरक्षण अधिनियम, 2023 के अनुरूप हैं।

9बच्चे

यह ऐप विद्यालय के विद्यार्थियों सहित सामान्य दर्शकों के लिए जागरूकता साधन है। यह डिफ़ॉल्ट रूप से कुछ भी नहीं लेता, और परिणाम भेजना वैकल्पिक है व सहमति तक बंद रहता है। यदि आपकी उम्र 18 वर्ष से कम है, तो परिणाम भेजने की सहमति देने से पहले माता-पिता, अभिभावक या शिक्षक से पूछें। माता-पिता व अभिभावक ऊपर दिए संपर्क से बच्चे का रिकॉर्ड हटवा सकते हैं।

10सुरक्षा

पूर्णता रिकॉर्ड केवल एन्क्रिप्टेड HTTPS कनेक्शन से भेजे जाते हैं और आयोजकों के Google खाते में संग्रहीत होते हैं, जिस तक केवल कार्यक्रम आयोजकों की पहुँच है।

11इस नीति में बदलाव

ऐप में बदलाव के साथ हम यह नीति अपडेट कर सकते हैं। नया संस्करण नई प्रभावी तिथि के साथ इसी पेज पर होगा, और महत्वपूर्ण बदलाव ऐप में भी दिखेंगे।
